Backpacks for Kids: Serve
In Prince William County, there are many children that are food insecure. Food insecure is “the limited or uncertain availability of nutritionally adequate and safe food.” In Prince William County, over 19,000 elementary school children qualified for free or reduced-price school lunches. Although these children are provided meals during the week, some do not have access to food on the weekends. We want to ensure these children don’t have to worry where their next meal is coming from by providing children with weekend food bags.
Immanuel Kid's Ministry
Immanuel Kids encourages children and their families to explore God’s Word so that they may see God and know His plan and purpose for their lives. We provide a safe, loving environment for children at Immanuel Kids to experience:

Sunday Morning
Children's Church
Children’s Church is offered Sunday mornings for children who are in Kindergarten through fifth grade. Each week children will explore God’s word in a fun and engaging way!
Children are invited to begin Worship with their families, then released to Children’s Church before the readings. They will re-join Worship during the Peace to have Communion with their families.
More Immanuel Kids
Nursery
Our nursery is available for infants through preschool-aged during our Sunday morning worship service. The nursery is staffed with professional childcare workers and volunteers who love children.
Each Sunday during Nursery, the children will have a Bible lesson and activity, play with friends and have snack time.
Some parents pick up their children and bring them to the worship service for communion. However, childcare is available throughout the entire worship.
Vacation Bible School
During the summer, children of the community are invited to a week at Vacation Bible School. All week we learn Bible stories, memorize scripture, learn games, and have lots of fun activities!
Special Events
Throughout the year Immanuel Kids participates in various special events. Check the monthly newsletter for the most up to date events planned.
